A few years ago, we scored the vanity license plate PODCAST, and then I got crazy and put VIDCAST on the video van. It made me much more aware of how many people are expressing branding messages or just letting you have a window on their inner selves through the messaging on the vanity plates. So I started photographing plates wherever I see them. There is a special collection of these plates on my Flickr.com site.
