CHERRY HILL, NJ – April 5, 2009 – Cherry Hill-based Take This Journey LLC and Professional Podcasts LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Lubetkin Communications, have collaborated to produce a video tribute honoring local philanthropists Sid, Sandy, Jeff, Tracy, Ike and Candy Brown, on behalf of Kellman Brown Academy, the South Jersey Jewish Day School that was recently renamed in their honor.
Lori Braunstein, principal of Take This Journey, produced the video, which contains interviews with the Brown family, other school benefactors, and students at Kellman Brown Academy. Steve Lubetkin, managing partner of Professional Podcasts, scripted and recorded voice-over narrations and musical scoring used in the production.
A major contribution from the Brown families enabled Kellman Brown Academy to acquire its new school building in Voorhees. The school held a dinner honoring the Browns on Sunday, April 5, at which the video received its world premiere. The video can be viewed on the Professional Podcasts website at http://www.professionalpodcasts.com/.
“The Browns’ contribution to Kellman Brown Academy was an extraordinary act of philanthropy in our community, and we were very privileged to be asked to document their generosity in this video,” said Braunstein. “We think the video captures the spirit and passion of the Brown family for their charitable activities, while also conveying the important educational work of Kellman Brown Academy in an entertaining and informative way.”
“We were pleased to work with Take This Journey on this important video documentary project,” said Lubetkin. “Documentary videos are a terrific way to preserve historical events in the life of a community, and they provide a special bridge between generations when a story is told effectively through words, music, and pictures.”
Take This Journey and Professional Podcasts are working together on two other documentary video projects, for the Samost Jewish Family and Children’s Service of Southern New Jersey and for the Jewish Community Foundation.
