Could your creative team benefit from tools like “Gravit Designer”, “Dribbble”, “EasyRelease”, or “Coolors”?

Creative and communications professionals are invited to join the New Jersey Communications, Advertising and Marketing Association (NJCAMA) and the River Communications Group for a panel discussion titled, “Free and Low Cost Tools for Creatives” on Wednesday, November 14 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. to find out.

The informative event will allow marketing and communications specialists from around the region to network and hear from three distinguished panelists in the creative, photography, design, and social media space who will provide tools to make our jobs easier. The event will be held at Local Wisdom, 287 S. Main St., Second Floor, Lambertville, NJ.

Attendees will hear from J. “Kel” Kelter, Creative Director at BadCat Design (New Hope, PA).  Kelter will introduce attendees to free designer tools including the vector design tool Gravit Designer, and a social media tool called Dribbble. He will also demonstrate the Unsplash Photos library, the Coolors color palette generator, and the gradient tool uiGradients.

Joining Kelter will be Steve Lubetkin, Managing Partner, Lubetkin Media Companies (Cherry Hill, NJ). He will present on EasyRelease, a smartphone app for release forms; PhotoMechanic, a tool used by photojournalists to ingest photos to a computer for tagging, editing, and distribution; and LightTrac, a smartphone app for planning sunlight angles for photo shoots.

The panel will be rounded out by Bob Flisser, vice president at Software School (Flemington, NJ). Flisser will share “inside secrets” of Facebook advertising, including techniques and best practices for creating and managing Facebook ads.

The “Free and Low Cost Tools for Creatives” panel discussion will be moderated by brand specialist/creative director/speaker/author Tom McManimon, President of StimulusBrand Communications (Ewing, NJ).

Admission to the event is $10 for NJCAMA and River Communications Group members, $15 for non-members, and free for college students. Light refreshments will be served. Seating is limited.

The New Jersey Communications, Advertising and Marketing Association is a non-profit organization founded in 1986. The River Communications Group is a networking group founded by creative communications pros who live or work in proximity to the Delaware River. The group is comprised of freelancers, corporate employees and local agencies who share ideas and form alliances with other smart, creative people in the area.
