LMC livestream broadcasts of special events now include B’nai Mitzvahs and other religious services

Prof. Thomas Cole, Ph.D. (second from left, top row), is ordained as a Jewish spiritual director by a team of clergy and psychotherapists, Jan. 17, 2021, in a live video broadcast produced by The Lubetkin Media Companies.

As LMC continues providing live broadcast production for a wide range of news roundtables and corporate town halls, the firm has added a portfolio of special events productions to its services, offering live-switched productions of TV-show quality bar and bat mitzvahs, the Jewish “coming of age” ceremony for 13 year olds, and other life-cycle events.

We recently produced an online ordination ceremony for Thomas R. Cole, Ph.D., the McGovern Chair in Medical Humanities and Director of the McGovern Center for Humanities and Ethics at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth).  After several years of study and practical experience, Dr. Cole was ordained as a Jewish Spiritual Director by Rabbi James Ponet.

The program involved six other ordainers, including rabbis, a Protestant minister, and several psychotherapists who all participated in the program remotely from Texas, Florida, Connecticut, and other locations. LMC mixed and switched the live video feeds from its broadcast center in Cherry Hill, NJ.

You can watch Dr. Cole’s ordination ceremony in the video player below.
