Congregation Mikveh Israel, the second oldest synagogue in North America, honored its retiring parnas (synagogue president) Leon Levy with the first Haym Solomon Award at a gala banquet at the National Museum of American Jewish History on Sunday, December 4, 2011. Levy has served more than 30 years as synagogue president, more than any other previous parnas. Among the speakers at the dinner were former US Senator Arlen Spector and former Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell.

Lubetkin Global Communications was commissioned to produce this tribute video that was shown at the dinner.
