CHERRY HILL, NJ – May 25, 2010 – Professional Podcasts LLC, the award-winning audio and video content production company headquartered in Cherry Hill, NJ, has won an Astra Award from the New Jersey Communications, Advertising, and Marketing Association (NJCAMA). The award is the third honor the company has earned for its multimedia productions since opening its doors in 2005.

Professional Podcasts won a Silver Astra award for a series of business-to-business audio podcasts produced for The ACE Group, a global insurer-reinsurer.
“It’s gratifying to have NJCAMA’s jury of professional communicators recognize that delivery of complex business content in audio form can still have an important role in a large company’s effort to reach out to corporate clients and prospects, said Steve Lubetkin, managing partner of Professional Podcasts. “In all of the excitement over the rise of the social media, many business users have focused all of their energies on social networks like Twitter and Facebook, and forget that creating their own radio and TV shows in the form of podcasts can reach a worldwide audience effectively.”
The podcasts were recognized in the Astra competition’s “Business to Business Podcasts (under 30 minutes)” category. The Astra award was presented at NJCAMA’s awards dinner at the Paul Robeson Center, 102 Witherspoon St., Princeton, NJ, on May 19.
The winning series of podcasts includes interviews with ACE Group risk management professionals and other subject matter experts about global risks faced by corporations in such areas as environmental liability, digital data security, directors and officers risk, logistics risk, and other complex business risks. The full series of programs, which Professional Podcasts has been producing for ACE Group since 2006, is available through the ACE Group website at http://www.acegroup.com/, at the podcast blog, http://aceprofessionalrisk.blogspot.com, via free subscription to the podcast RSS feed, and through the Apple iTunes Music Store’s podcast section.
In 2008, Lubetkin Communications/Professional Podcasts won a Silver JASPER Award for podcast audio programs it produced for NAPL, a global printing and graphic communications trade association, and in 2009, it shared a JASPER Award for a video documentary with Take This Journey LLC, another Cherry Hill video firm, for a program produced for Samost Jewish Family and Children’s Services of Southern New Jersey.
